Club Casinò Maltese di Valletta

The first document relating to the establishment of "Casino Maltese" (hereinafter referred to as the Club) refers to its inauguration on 1 March, 1852. The premises were moved to 247 Republic Street, Valletta, in 1859. They are used by members and often serve as a venue for important occasions of the city. The Club is currently a society that lives of of its prestige, a national institution that is part of the history of Malta. Its motto is "Omnibus Idem," and among its merits is to serve as a place for social gatherings and entertainment, the main purpose of its existence.
