Art: eternal heritage of humanity

"Art, in its broadest sense includes all human expression that leads to creative forms of relevant emotion, relying on innate ability and in that which implies the result of the study and of the experiences of each artist. In its sublime meaning, art is the aesthetic revelation of human interior, closely related to the Divine Breath. All art, whatever the genre to which it belongs (painting, sculpture, music and poetry) has sentimental and ideological values that make it remain eternal.

When the Cultural Artistic Association "The Temple" of which I am the President, was founded I was asked why I chose this name. That day I replied that the Temple has always been the place that guarded the sacred things and because I consider all artistic expression the result of a state of mind, and therefore sacred. Today, I am happy to award the "Trofeo Il Tempio" award and the "Trinacria" award to selected artists. The works published in this catalog [Publications] are evidence of what I have mentioned. The whole exhibition is rich in the diversity of styles and emotions, ready to penetrate into the heart of the viewer and remain there forever."
